Safari Itinerary & Experience Overview

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be met by our representative and transferred to your lodge in Arusha for rest and briefing about your upcoming safari.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant populations, towering baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch inside the park. Expect to see: Elephants, lions, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and many bird species.

Day 3: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Highlands

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Highlands, with an optional stop at a Maasai village to learn about their traditional lifestyle. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and enjoy the scenic views of the crater rim.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. This natural amphitheater is home to the “Big Five” — lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos — as well as countless other species.
Enjoy your picnic lunch near the hippo pool before continuing your exploration.

Day 5: Ngorongoro – Lake Eyasi Cultural Experience

After breakfast, drive to Lake Eyasi, a unique cultural destination where you’ll meet the Hadzabe Bushmen and Datoga blacksmiths. Join the Hadzabe on a morning hunt, learn traditional fire-making, and witness how the Datoga craft metal tools.

Day 6: Lake Eyasi – Arusha / Departure

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed drive back to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, you may explore a local market or enjoy lunch in town before airport transfer.
