Safari Itinerary & Experience Overview

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where our Wildnest Safari representative will meet and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha. Enjoy dinner and relax as you prepare for your adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha Tarangire National Park

Depart after breakfast for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch before heading to your lodge for dinner.

Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park (Central Region)

After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Highlands. Stop at the Ngorongoro viewpoint for photos before entering the vast Serengeti plains. Afternoon game drive en route to your lodge.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive – Serengeti (Central to Northern Serengeti)

Spend the day exploring Serengeti’s incredible wildlife scenes. Depending on the season (June–October), travel toward the northern Serengeti to follow the Great Migration near the Mara River — where thrilling river crossings may occur.
